My friend [25M] complains about me in Russian while we’re having sex, and he doesn’t know I know.
Hi, I’ve never used this site before, and I don’t plan on making any posts besides this one; I just need to tell some people who won’t judge me for what I’m about to confess. For context, my friend and I have been hooking up for a while (it’s a long and complicated story and I wouldn’t even say we’re really friends, but I have no better way to describe our relationship without people thinking I’m crazy or without saying something I don’t want to say). Most of the time while we’re hooking up, he switches to Russian once I’ve made it so he can’t think straight. Not knowing Russian, I didn’t really worry that much about what he was saying since I was more interested in what he was doing to me. Plus, he sounds really good when he speaks Russian. It’s his native language, and he sounds beautiful while he speaks it (his accent comes through when he’s speaking English, and he’s always hated how it sounds but I’ve always thought it’s kind of endearing and a little sexy (not that I would ever tell him that; he doesn’t need a bigger ego)). In order to one-up him, I started learning Russian so that I could surprise him one day. I’ve been learning it in my free time for about a year and a half now, and I’m not fluent by any means, but I know enough to pick up on a few of the things he says. When he was in my town a few nights ago and we were hooking up, he said something about my freckles being bad which is strange because I was sure he actually really liked my freckles. Besides that he’s also said that my clothes are weird or that I’m too…something. I’ll admit it’s not a lot to go off of, but knowing how he is, it’s not surprising that he would quip at me while he’s fucking me. Like I said, this post isn’t meant to be anything–I just had to get it off my chest because it was going to eat at me if no one knew. I’m thinking about getting back at him by starting to speak French while we’re having sex, but I’m not sure how much he would like that. On the other hand, it would feel good to hide behind a language like he is.

Aww, why not? If you're willing to learn a whole other language for him, and you're teasing him in the same way he teases you, why don't you think it'll work if you're clearly willing to put the effort in

Like I said in the post, it's a very long and complicated story that I'm not willing to put on the internet even in vague details, but even though I would be willing to try and have a relationship with him, I really don't see it happening...

My friend [26M] doesn't understand what I say to him when we are having sex.
I don't know how to start this so I will just start writing. I saw his post the other day, and I think it is very funny that my friend does not know that I am really dirty talking him when we are having sex. I say the normal things to him in my native language like calling him very pretty and too perfect, but since I am good at sex, I would never say anything that is not sexy. Him thinking I would say anything less than sexy when I am railing him is insulting (that is a bit of a lie, the part about him having bad clothes is true, he does not know how to dress himself. it is quite cute if I am being honest). If we are being fair to him (which we should not be), my talk has been less sexy lately and more......mushy?? I do not know the right word for it. I tell him that his freckles are bad for my heart because they are so beautiful and lovely. I tell him that we is too perfect and flawless that it is annoying. I tell him that I hate that I need him in my life. Most annoyingly, he has started to talk in French to me when we are fucking. We hooked up last week and he started talking in French. It was very cute to watch him try and keep talking and sounding sexy in French when trying not to cum. I am probably posting this for the same reasons he posted his. I want a relationship with him, but we are not in a position to start a relationship. So if jane1410 is reading this right now, let me know our next time and place (^3^)!!

it is not like that, he may say differently, but my accent already makes me sound stupid in one language, i do not wish for it to make me sound stupid in two. Я бы сделал для него все, что угодно

AITA for only speaking in French to my boyfriend when we met up again?
When I met up with my boyfriend [26M] the other day, I decided that if he gets to say cute things about me in Russian (a language I don't completely understand) then I am allowed to compliment him in French (a language he does not understand). He decided to elevate the stakes once he realized I was speaking French more than usual, and he practically started speaking in Russian every other sentence! Of course I don't mind when he speaks in Russia, but he doesn't need to look so smug about it with a handsome, crooked grin. I didn't want to back down from his challenge, so I started to completely talk in French. This only made him smile more and also switch to speaking completely in Russian. It was actually kind of fun to just say whatever to each other in different languages, and I think he also had fun!

I am dating a man I hate.
I'm back again even though I really thought I wouldn't be, but this will really be my last post on Reddit. As many of you may have guessed by the title of the post and if you've been following this saga, I am now dating the insufferable, gorgeous man that I talked about in my first post. He is absolutely terrible. His habit of using Russian to compliment and flirt with me has not stopped, but I do understand more of it now and recognize it when he thinks that my freckles are like stars or when he calls me random Russian words in order to test my Russian. My favorite is when he calls me moya lyubov. However, the fact that he is unfairly handsome, attentive to my needs, and always pushing me to try my best does not excuse the fact that he manages to be a faster runner than me and have better stamina than me despite being a smoker is just plain unreasonable. The way that he flirts with me constantly is very distracting especially when we are trying to focus on our jobs. It seems like he is always trying to get a rise out of me, and I love it. I don't like my boyfriend sometimes (he can't not be an asshole for 5 seconds), but I love him-he's it for me.
