“Still got bite, huh?” the man sneered, unfazed. Edward tried to snap harder, but all that did was scrape metal against his teeth.
“No—get off—!” His voice cut off abruptly as cold steel slammed into his mouth—a muzzle.
A heavy ring forced his mouth open, pinning his tongue down. Thick leather straps bit into his jaw and buckled tight at the base of his skull.
(They tried to silence him. But some fires refuse to be snuffed out.)
