He places the first stone onto the sand and absentmindedly wonders if his grave, too, would’ve been made with cobblestone.
(If he were Tommy or Wilbur or someone that mattered.)He steps on top, jumping to place another stone beneath him.
He blinks, realizing this will be his grave.
Another jump.
He can’t even lie and say he’s that upset about it.

At least he’d have one this time.
(Or, after months of loneliness and heat consuming Jack from the inside out, he decides to finally just end it all, but though he doesn't know it, the method he chooses is awfully familiar to the one person he hopes won't find him.)
