Summary
Sneaking around for work is one thing, breaking the law is another. Joining the 141 unfortunately muddied the water. Still, Ghost prided himself in his morals. He'd never break a sworn oath...except to save the ones he cares about the most. After Price is abducted, Ghost finds himself desperate to look for information in the criminal underworld. He makes a treasonous deal with a secretive information broker that leaves a lasting impression on his mind.
“We’re more similar than you think, Simon. You trade in tactical and lethal skills; We both trade in information. Your presence here only but confirms my neutrality and the nature of the 141.”
“I’m nothing like you!” he yells, but Mira eyes are unwavering.
“What exactly do you want me to do?” His tone seemingly softens changing his approach to her reason. Maybe it was defeat, but he wasn’t ready to admit any of that yet.
“I merely wish for your company.” She smirks.
