"Where's Shawn going?"
Dave asked himself as he saw Shawn leave from what they so-called...a 'wizard's tower'.
What a weird guy, he thought. He must be crazy...I knew it ever since he grabbed a soup when we were looking for the materials! Does he really think that he can build a house with a can of soup!?
Just then, Chris appeared while riding on a jetpack. "Team Muskwak! Wizard's tower, huh?"
Leonard nodded proudly, while Dave just sighed. Why did his stupid team agree to build such a stupid thing?
"So, is it moose-proof?" Chris chuckled.
"Is it WHAT now?" Sky asked back in confusion.
Before Chris could explain, a herd of moose came rushing towards the 'wizard's tower'!
"AAAAHH!!" Sugar screamed in a high-pitched tone as she ran away from the moose. Everyone started running away too except Leonard, who just curled up in fear beside the tower.
"AAAAHH!!" Dave screamed too as he dashed towards the forest. He didn't look where he was going, and because of that he bumped with someone else!
"Oof!"
"Aah! Zombies!!"
That voice...could that be?
Dave looked up to see the zombie freak staring right at him. Before Dave could speak anything, the zombie freak grabbed a nearby twig and started to hold it out like it was some kind of a weapon.
"I KNEW there were zombies on the island!!" he cried. "Stay back or you will regret it!!"
"Woah woah, calm down! It's me, Dave! remember? We're on the same team!" Dave reassured him.
"...Dave?" Shawn responded, now a bit confused. "I don't get it. Why were you running like a zombie? You confused me!"
"That's because a herd of literal MOOSE were chasing after us!" Dave yelled out, still a bit frustrated about the wizard's tower thing. "Also, where were you going!? Why would you leave the team like that?"
"Oh, I have my own explanation for that! I basically don't want to spend the night with people who could turn into ZOMBIES anytime!" Shawn said with huge confidence.
Zombies?? is this guy serious??
"...Wow, really?" Dave said as he tried to keep calm. "You REALLY believe in, uh...zombies?"
"Yeah! Anyone could turn into zombies any moment! Even you! I'm not risking that happening to me." Shawn answered like it was the most obvious thing on Earth.
"...Alright." Dave muttered. This guy is indeed crazy. Delusional even!
He tried to change the subject. "Anyway, I bet our 'wizard's tower' collapsed now because of the entire moose thing. Which means that we lost the challenge and we would have to vote someone off. Who are you voting off?"
"I'm sorry, the tower collapsed?" Shawn asked, a little bit surprised.
"Yeah?? Why? Are you surprised?"
"Kinda. I mean, I thought the wizard's tower was pretty cool, to be honest..."
Is he for real!?
"Umm, you thought it was...cool?" Dave asked as nicely as possible.
"Yeah? That's why I helped them collect boulders and stuff?"
Dave suddenly recalled the events that happened a few hours ago, when the team was talking about building a wizard's tower. He remembered Leonard suggesting it first, followed by Ella, Sugar and Beardo agreeing to it, and Sky saying that they should build a wizard's tower because that's what everyone agreed upon. And Shawn? He was happy about it! Smiling and cheering and everything!
"...ookay, if you say so..." Dave sighed. "But anyway it collapsed, soo...I'm planning to vote off the wizard. How about you?"
"I'm not sure..." Shawn said uncertainly.
"Fine, if you're not sure, then you can vote for the wizard with me. What have you got to lose?"
"But Ella and Sugar like the wizard," Shawn pointed out. "I only watched this show for a bit, but...wouldn't that make both of them hate us for voting him off?"
"Nah, they'll understand. Besides, I will explain that the wizard HAD to go because of how incompetent he is. They won't hate you for getting rid of someone useless in the team." Dave said as he patted Shawn in the back.
"They will?"
"Oh yeah! just vote for that wizard with me, please! he's REALLY getting on my nerves."
Dave then thought for a moment and said,
"You know in a zomie apocalypse, you sometimes gotta let people go in order to survive."
"Oh, yeah! is it like that?"
"It's EXACTLY like that." Dave was now smiling as he said that. It was funny how naive Shawn was...it seemed like he could convince him to do anything by using his obsession with zombies!
"So, shall we go back first to our team?" Dave asked.
"...Okay." Shawn replied with a smile.
This weirdo is much more easier to talk to than I thought...
