Falling for a superhero in your civilian identity is truly a rite of passage, but when the superhero starts falling for the secret identity as well? Nothing is guaranteed to go as well as they think. . .

Gazerbeam has gotten the superhero-ing down, these days. A system to follow no matter the emergency he needs to assist in or villain he needs to defeat.

After the bombing of a university, though, his systems fall apart thanks to a certain blonde man—a physics student—that turns his life upside down.

“Simon…damn him. Who needs him anyway? The asshole can only shoot lasers out of his eyes, not even NEAR my level. Hell, I could explode the entire city if I wanted to. Who cares about his stupid glasses… his sad demeanor… his shy grin… the way he kinda shifts when he’s nervous…his…his…”

Gamma Jack snapped back to reality, not even realizing his martini had arrived while he was lost in thought. What he also had failed to realize was the faint burning in his cheeks and the small smile tugging at his lips.

“Who needs him?” he said aloud, taking a long sip of his martini, “who the hell needs Simon Paladino…”

    Summary

Tim's doesn't remember what made him start thinking about it, but how long has he been 17. He knows that Damian is currently 12 and he is 17, but wasn't he also 17 when Damian joined the family three years ago when he was 9. Is he going to be 17 forever? Will Damian eventually become older then him? What is causing this? is it just him? Is he an anomaly? No he can't be because now that he thinks about it how long has Bruce been in his 30's, isn't Dick 24 the math ain't mathing. Also how old is Alfred that man hasn't seemed to age since... well since ever. How has nobody else noticed this? Tim will get to the bottom of this one way or another.
