Summary
Amanda and Angela have always been aware of the way their fans think that they’re fucking or dating or married or whatever. It’s a bit of a joke between the two of them. But when Smosh’s viewing numbers begin to drop, Anthony comes up with an idea to get people watching again.
In interviews and youtube videos, they need to lean into the shipping and subtly imply that they’re dating. They enter a friendly competition to see who can stir up more rumors, but things go south when the line between what’s real and what’s fake begins to blur.
