The Dogs are Barking...in this hotel

Summary:

Bron Breakker nearly gets his whole group including Seth Rollins kicked out of a hotel because turns out the dogs should not be barking at four in the morning in a random hotel room.

Notes:

Honestly just a joke I couldn't get out of my head and so had to put down and so its probably the dumbest thing I've ever written. Have fun :)

Work Text:

Monday night had turned into the early Tuesday morning still wrapped in the thick veil of night when Seth, Bronson, Bron, and Paul rolled into their adjoining hotel rooms. It had been an intense night for Seth, so perhaps that was why he didn’t notice how pumped Bron still was. He didn’t notice when he fell into bed fully clothed and he didn’t notice when he slid into sleep. Perhaps Becky did, but she wasn’t equated with Bron in the same way Seth was so how could she know what a mistake her husband had made. Attack Dogs like Bron need to be worn out and Seth had been doing that, but wrapped up in his money in the bank match it had slipped his mind.

Thus their joyful dreams of domination and conquest were broken abruptly only a few hours later by the sounds of barking and aggressive knocking.

“What is that?” Seth grumbled, rubbing his eyes.

“It’s a fucking racket, is what it is. Just go answer the door because I’m not going to,” Becky said as she pulled a half-stuffed feather pillow down over her head.

And so he did, still in his performing gear. On the other side of the door he was met with a beleaguered young man in a hotel uniform with a small plastic nameplate with the words “Mike night manager” etched into it.

“Your Mr. Rollins, correct?” He rubbed his hand.

“Yeah,”

“You are aware that this hotel does not allow pets,” He said, voice echoing with a lingering frustration.

“Yes,” He rubbed his eyes then reached up to rub his head which had in the few hours since he was last conscious devolved into chaos.

“Then could you explain to me why your DOG in the next room has been barking for HOURS?!”

“Huh…oh Bron,”

“Sir, I am giving you this courtesy as have bought some of the most expensive rooms in the hotel, get your dog to shut the fuck up immediately or you will all be kicked out of the hotel. We have received numerous complaints and needless to say you are barred from returning in future”

“Well, Bron isn’t actually a-”

“Don’t care. He can be heard from the ground floor!” He said and began to turn.

“Look I’ll tell him to stop, but my manager will explain the rest in the morning because I'm not getting banned for this,” Seth cut in.

And so Seth just barely awake knocked on Bron’s door to no reply for minutes with no luck. It was lucky that Seth kept a copy of Bron’s room key because he often lost his so after a quick but embarrassing conversation with his wife Seth was in Bron’s room. Inside Bron sat inches from the TV watching his own highlights and barking. Seth flashed the lights and Bron looked over.

“Shut the fuck up or your going to get us kicked out of the hotel!”

Bron looked confused as if barking at the top of your voice at four in the morning was perfectly reasonable behaviour.

“The dogs may be barking in Tampa, but they shouldn’t be barking in this hotel!”
