Summary
Several years ago, a street racer gets caught in the city. Instead of a normal sentence, they're offered time in the Armed Forces. This results in a Top Gun graduate, still watched by those in charge.
A pilot balances a life of street racing with life as a pilot. He lives for the thrill.
The Admiral's nephew tries to live past his last name and the trauma he's been through. Naturally, he still joins Top Gun.
What happens if the three of them meet up for what is essentially a suicide mission for the best of the best?

Summary
Steve Winchester- though he supposes he's going by Steve Harrington now -spent the entirety of his life never being good enough. Not good enough for a mom who left him, not good enough for a dad who thinks he's useless, not good enough for his older brothers who think he's too soft for the job. The only person he actually seems to be good enough for is Dustin, a little brother who looks up to Steve with stars in his eyes. So when John decides to take Dean on a hunt and leave Steve and Dustin in some bumfuck town called Hawkins, Indiana, Steve figures this is it. This is his chance. If he could just survive one more year, just make it to 18, he could take Dustin and get out from under his dad's thumb. Get out and prove that he can be a good hunter, that he can take care of himself and Dustin without their help.
If only he didn't have two really hot monsters trying to fuck up his plans.
If only he didn't find a kid in the middle of the woods who barely knew how to speak.

oh i fucking love this one!!! the flirting, the danger, the fact dustin and steve are also half-brothers, everything that will go wrong, steve being chrissy's cousin (kinda), carver being an ass, billy being a different flavour of ass. amazing!! and only having to hang on for a year but we all know that's going to go terribly

holy fucking fuck. i dont normally like htis kinda shit but holy fuck the ideas. puffer is going the same route as Piastri (contract mess between alpine and mclaren), Matt has the whole Brocedes thing going on with Smii7y except maybe not as close, Grizzy doing boxing and Droid and Pezzy being MotoGP (?) racers is amazing. honestly would love more parts of smii7y and john realising about matt (maybe some angst there about it all (definitely)) and then maybe shit does come out about puffer's identitiy and have matt come out as well. shit goes down. imagine if both careers are over?? (not wanting that but holy shit the angst could be a good mix for matt and his pining storyline)

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK???? right right okay, the first 6 chapters were like someone pouring concrete into my ribcage, over my hear, waiting for it to dry and then pulling it out with my heart. glad that matt, john and smitty got together in it by the end eventhough smitty had a severe mental health break, john has,,, just awful mental health and matt has an interesting flavour of depression BUT THE SEVENTH FUCKING CHAPTER????
