Ted’s eyes trail back into the shop, and he catches sight of Trent across the room, standing in a shaft of golden afternoon sun spilling through the high windows.
He’s frowning down at a vinyl sleeve, his brows drawn, lips pursed, head tilted with clinical disdain. The dust in the air dances around him, catching in the curls that have started to frizz just slightly from the heat.
