Eugene and his friends—Mogari, Zaki, and Tamon had created their own club. An Interesting fact about their members is that Mogari can eat spirits aka he is either an exorcist or exowire.
While Zaki can see spirits, and the other hand—Tamon can talk to spirits. And... Eugene, is just an ordinary human being with no special powers.
There's this one girl—Yotsuya Maria, has been convincing Eugene to be the school council president. Eugene declines because he's already in a club.
Mogari scoffs as he took a step forward—beside Eugene, "Oii, cant you go a day without convincing Eugene?" He said.
Eugene awkwardly laughs as he puts a hand on Mogari's shoulder, signaling him to dont cause a scene look. Mogari scoffs again then backs off, Eugene then turns his attention to Yotsuya.
"I'm sorry but i cant really do that" he said, as yotsuya scoffs and shoots and glare at Mogari and leaves.
Mogari rolled his eyes and mocks her when she left, "dude. What's wrong with her? Always bugging Eugene—its annoying!!" He said as Tamon lets out a chuckle.
They continue their daily banter and conversation, afterschool yotsuya approached him again but one of her friends just stopped her.

The next day, Eugene and his friend's discord group were spamming that—eugene woke up as he rubs his eyes and grabs his phone.
[Mogari] : GUYS GUYS GUYS
[Zaki] : what
[Tamon] : me and mogari are planning to go on a photobooth with you all!!
[Eugene] : that's a good idea, we all should half the money for the price!
[Zaki] : smart idea
[Mogari] : YESSSS

They actually went to the photobooth as they pose while the camera captures their poses.
Once they get it—the poses were pretty goofy and they laughed and makes some jokes.
Their friendship was pretty healthy—no arguments and all. They spent the day hanging out, eating, arcade, helping people, and usual.
Another week passed, they continue to help spirits and was avoiding yotsuya's "always bugging eugene" behavior.
One day, the group were walking then Mogari felt like he stepped something. Their heads slowly look down as they realize Mogari stepped on sh¡t—he was panicking as the others laugh
[Tamon] : HAHAHAHAHA, MOGARI STEPPED ON SH¡T
Tamon said as the others laugh and continues to tease Mogari, he told to shut them up but they kept laughing so he couldn't do anything but get all bark no bite.

Eugene woke up in a early day, the weather as usual and their gc spamming as usual... But there was a test so he quickly studies before going to school.
Of course when they met, Eugene got the highest score. And of course Tamon got the lowest score, they still continue to hang out and help good spirits.
One day the school had a festival and the group dressed nicely and Mogari acting goofy as usual, yotsuya asked again and eugene declined.
"Its been the 10000th time you keep asking eugene, dude!!! Back off, he doesn't wanna be in that council!" Mogari said, clearly mad that yotsuya keeps bugging them.
Mogari always gets mad cause he doesn't want one of his members leaving the club LMAOO

A lonely night, eugene was sick and couldn't go to school. Yotsuya messaged him, and so did his group.
[Yotsuya] : rest well, eugene.

[Mogari] : EUUUGEEENEEEE, GET WELL!!!!!!
[Tamon] : why do you have to be siiiiiccckkkkkk
[Zaki] : get well bro🔥🔥🔥

Eugene replied ”thanks” to Yotsuya, when he red his group's message—he couldn't help but chuckle. His club really cared about him, ALOT.
Another day, Eugene met Ichimiya Sorato. The student council president, Ichimiya raised a brow as he steps forward infront if Eugene—eyeing him. "So you're the guy that Yotsuya told me huhh?" He says
Eugene nodded, i got lazy here lmao just pretend that one chapter.

It was Eugene's birthday and his friends surprised him, on a night they gave eugene gifts and mogari greets him but says his japanese name instead of his english name (Yuujin)
They also planned to watch an anime movie on Eugene's laptop, they searched then Zaki points out an interesting anime movie. “Drifting Home”
"Lets watch that! I heard it sounds cool." Zaki said, he would mostly recommend whenever reading mangas, watching animes or whatsoever—cause he is an otaku.
After them watching the movie, they teared up a bit and mogari being sarcastically dramatic again.
"NOOOOO WHY DID NOPPO AND THEM SEPERATEEE" he says as he added more words to his sentence, making him even more 'dramatic'.
"THEY'RE JUST KIDDSS" he says as he sarcastically wipes tears and others laugh, Eugene went to get some water.
Thats the time when they got serious, the three looked at eachother. Not knowing if they should confront or not.
Tamon sighs as he looks at Zaki and Mogari, concern visible in his eyes. "... Should we?" He says—Zaki shakes his head.
"We don't want to hurt him don't we?" Mogari spoke, frowning. The both nodded, deciding not to tell him.
Eugene came back and they continue to act normal but eugene felt something was suspicious, "is... Everything alright?" He says
Zaki nodded—responding to Eugene. "Yeah, everything's fine. We just waited for you" as the others agree to Zaki

One hang out in Eugene's place, he introduced his friends to his parents. "Mother, Father.. these are my friends—the friends I've been working with."
His parents smiles as they met his son's friends—they greeted them and they also greeted them. Mogari then talks to his parents about their academics and on their club what their working on (Mogari lied about them being all smart so his parents won't think they're a bad influence.)
His parents then noticed when they're looking at Tamon—he seems the person to not hold eye contact which was right.
His Mother spoke—in a gently calm and a hint of confusion. "Oh dear, whats wrong Tamon?" She said.
Zaki then speaks for him because he would know tamon would be stuttering as shvt💔
"He's just not that good at holding eye contacts, aunt." He says, his tone the same as Eugene's mother except the confusion.
They all ate in Eugene's place and each week, they introduced themselves to other's family except Mogari.
The next day as usual, they played baseball. They were having so much fun, after playing. They keep replaying the same movie all over again, although eugene felt odd and curious why do they keep rewatching this.
Eugene then finally asks them, he spoke—as he paused the movie. "Why do you guys like this movie so much?" He awkwardly laughs when he asks
"We'll tell you in the right time!" Mogari says, as the two were internally panicking and nods. Then they ate pizza.
Christmas, they planned to exchange gifts. They met up at some plaza "Yooo!!" Mogari said as the others waves back
"Ready for the exchange gift?" Zaki says, with a smirk. They did the clock wise method and Mogari got Zaki's gift.
Mogari was so confident and thinking he got something nice and...when he opened the gift..."WHAT???!!!" Mogari yells
"WHY DID I GET A ROCK!!??? IT WAS HEAVYY, I WAS EXPECTING SOMETHING!!" He says as he dramatically falls down feeling sad.
The others laugh "AHAHHAHAHAHA LMAOOO" Tamon laughed out loud and so the others, this might be the best Christmas day they ever had in their friendship
It was almost new years, they made their goals on what they will do next year. Some made goofy lists and they laughed again
Eugene then said..."guys, lets make a promise." He says as the others nodded. Not expecting what they were expecting.
"Promise, promise us—that we will never ever leave eachother. We will stay by our side, we will never let our friendship destroy—no matter what it takes, no matter how we will be mad at eachother. Lets not forget all of these memories, our friendship. Promise."
The three smiled, not sure if they can keep the promise. But they still nodded, as they did a circle group hug. Yelling "promise!"
Eugene smiled widely as they continue to hang out—living happily with his friends, his friends are his therapy, They make him happy.

It was new years, and of course the four hangs out—as usual. Time passed, Mogari looks at the time and nudges the two—aka Zaki and Tamon. He whispers to them so Eugene wouldn't hear.. "guys, we dont have enough time! We need to tell him.."
The two looks at their watch too, and nodded. Zaki then spoke—in an upset quiet voice. "... Guess its finally the time huh?" He says while Tamon joins in "we're finally gonna hurt him? I don't want that..."
"Me too, but we got no other choice Tamon." Mogari says as he lets out a deep sigh, the three stands up and walks to somewhere.
After a few minutes, eugene realized his friends were gone. He stands up and searches for them. There was no point by just looking for them by his eyes, he then starts to shout their name.
"Tamon! Zaki! Mogari! Where are you guys...?" He says, as worry and fear fills him. He finally catched up to them—them infront of a door, Eugene was confused why they were infront of a door in a secluded place..
Eugene sighs as he speaks "i found y'all, finally.. what are you guys doing here? Let's go back.." he says as he tries to walk closer but Mogari stops him.
"Eugene... We really appreciate the hang-outs... The movies.. the club activities... The helping spirits... Everything." He said, eugene even gets more worried, scared, fear.
"W-what are you guys talking about?.." he says, confused. "We still have our photobooth in us, Eugene." Tamon speaks.
"We're sorry Eugene, for hiding a secret." Zaki says and Mogari speaks again "we like that one movie we watched, what's that called? Drifting home. Yeah.. " he says.
Tamon speaks again "you know why we like it?" He asks, as eugene shakes his head. "N.. no.. why?"
"Because Noppo actually helped his friends and then they realize he belongs to another world where his friends can't be with him or they're gone for life. Just like us, we actually belong to another world Eugene."
Eugene already felt his tears coming down on his cheeks, his friends leaving him?.. he couldn't believe it.
"..n..no..no!..stop lying..guys, cmon..lets go!..you guys wouldn't leave me right?.. right?!" He says, he doesn't want them leaving him alone. He doesn't want all of those memories of them gone, he couldn't let them be just gone.
Mogari even felt his tears as he makes eye contact with Eugene, he gave him one last hug. "I'm sorry, we're sorry Eugene. Im sorry we cant keep our promise, we dont have much time left. We have to Go Eugene—we have to go back to our own universe, where me, Zaki and Tamon belongs." He says, Eugene hugged back tightly. He doesn't wanna let go—as the two also joins in the hug.
Even the two couldn't resist but cry also, they really cared for their friendship. "you're just an ordinary human Eugene, you cant go with us. You'll be gone for after when you join us, you cant Eugene.. you just can't." He says
Zaki sighs, as he speaks. "We care about you Eugene, you cant go with us. You still have your future going—your family, Go focus on your life Eugene."
And suddenly in the same time, the three said.
"Farewell, Eugene."
As the three starts to disappear, no matter how Eugene would tighten his hug. They're still disappearing, when they finally disappeared...
Eugene opens his eyes as he fell his knees to the ground, slamming his fist hard to the ground many times as it starts to bleed. "I hate you guys.. i hate you.. i hate you i hate you i hate you!..." He sobs as he wipes his tears, he doesn't mean it. He was just upset they have to leave them
In the next day, Eugene couldn't stop crying. He looks at the photobooth, Zaki's words coming to his mind.
"Thats right, he's right.. I'm only a human after all."
He breaks down crying again.
