Chapter one
“New neighbours?” The words surprised you as your mother nodded “mmm-hmm, the Uhal arrived yesterday and I think the family is moving in today”
New next door neighbours, huh, you hoped that they were good guys, the last people who lived next door were drug addicts that would always make so much noise at night.
“Well that sounds cool I guess” you murmured a response, to be honest, you don’t know if you like the idea of neighbours, you weren’t really a ‘people-person.’
“Yea, and you gotta promise that you’ll at least introduce yourself”
“But mom-”
“No buts, I don’t want them to think that we raised someone who’s never meet another human in her life”
You rolled your eyes but sighed out a ‘fine’ before going to your room. Gosh, what if they were mean? What if they didn’t like kids? Well you’re not really a ‘kid’ but 16 is still young, but what if they don’t like teenagers? What if they are a noisy old couple?
The worst possibilities continued to flow through your mind as you thought, you really, really hoped that they were nice, or at least didn’t want to bother you.
You decided that you needed to do something to distract yourself from the thoughts bouncing in your mind.
‘Drawing’ you thought ‘drawing would help’ even if drawing can be stressful at times, it helps to get your mind off something.
You hope the neighbours are nice
