Chuuya and Atsushi have been serving for years under the Port Mafia Boss Osamu Dazai, Chuuya as his right-hand man, Atsushi as his guard dog and pet. Both were used and abused by the mob boss, twisted into his web of deception and desire, and so they have every reason to celebrate his death . . . only Chuuya finds the way to peer into the other worlds and with it, sees the reason behind Dazai’s actions — as well as the possibility of a happy life with him. Together, he and Atsushi try to change their own world to seek the man they both love and hate to save themselves and him, and to forge a loving future for all of them.

The moon's light danced across the figures of two men hidden away in a cabin. They raced across the wooden floors, stuffing trinkets, potions, books, and anything in their line of sight into bags. The taller man was frantic; his hands shook, and his heart was racing at an alarming speed. On the other hand, his shorter companion was calmer, his features scrunched in frustration and there was a hint of anger in his actions as he shoved things into one of the bags with more force than was required.
