||Why do you feel like this?! Confess!! Just ughhhh!||

Flash Vector and his team (or his family idk-) with Peruru came to visit Jun. It has been a while since he’s seen Jun. Last he saw Jun was when the great battle between FlameNova happened. And to him? It’s not quite pleasant. Flash Vector’s servo held his mother’s (Sky Gallop’s) servo for at least some familiarity to Mowtown. He saw the workshop and saw Blue cop’s car form pull up to the repair shop’s driveway, the rest of the Cardbots saw this and thought “Jun must be home…” meanwhile Flash vector? “…What if that idiot is back….?”

“Hi guys!!!” Jun called out from afar, he’d been waving to them and shouting at them causing him to have a few glance at the boy in confusion.

A small chuckle came from Peruru who was sitting atop Sky Gallop’s shoulder plate “Hello Jun!”, Sky Gallop simply waved at Jun.
“HIYYAAAA JUNNN!!!” Sparkbit added in slight excitement, he may be a slightly idiotic cardbot but he understands exactly what Jun does to the cardbots. “Hello Jun…” Musclehyde added, he was happy to see Jun again after so long. “…Hello.” Flash Vector quickly turned but quietly muttering under his own breath.

Blue cop quickly changed back to metal Cardbot form and stood up, dusting his body parts with his servos before letting the others go inside the repair shop. It was surely rusty, dusty, some parts have rusted. But top tier stuff and condition! Surprising. Seriously.

Dexter and Fleta-Z were sitting together talking about birds and animals like normal besties. Mega Ambler was…Mega Ambler (he’s a lunatic what was I supposed to do-) and Shadow X? He gave the Sepranza Cardbots a surprise hello.

After the Sepranza Cardbots entered the workshop. Shadow X hung by his legs from the catwalks in stealth mode before turning it off and letting out a “HIIIIII!!!!!!!!” That scared the Sepranza Cardbots quite a lot. But Flash Vector wasn’t scared he kept a straight face. But inside his helm and processer? “OH DEUS MACHINA DEUS MACHINA DEUS MACHINA DEUS MACHINA DEUS MACHINA- HES SO CUTE- I JUST WANNA-“. And his heart/spark? It beated faster than the song Faster’n Harder and a Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut!

Shadow X smiled and waved at Flash Vector, still upside down but he looked him in the optics with his cat like optics and spoke “Hiyaaa Flashieeeeeee!”, Flash vector looked away and returned by “…Hello. Shadow X.”

“Awww why the long face, knock off Shadow the Hedgehog?~” Shadow X added just for a tease. “Shut up. I had worst names than you. Gremlin.” Flash Vector retorted back.

“Actually. I wear the name gremlin like a badge of honour.” Shadow X added smugly as he adjusted himself to place himself onto the catwalk to sit. “He’s not wrong. Hes concerning.” Jun added slightly annoyed but more or so unfazed. “Anyways! Help yourself- I-“ Jun added, but Flash Vector?…zoned out: he let his guard down…he let his emotions run wild- and my Deus Machina’s..Shadow X’s face looked so soft and cute…he just wanted to do what he knew the humans call “kissing”. He wanted to talk and yap to Sky Gallop on how cute Shadow X is…how adorable he is. How stupid he is. And he wanted Spark Bit to teach him about confidence to ask someone out..it’s not that hard right?

Shadow X sat on the catwalk thinking about how to prank others later, but for now? He’d just like some rest. Not before Shadow X was greeted by Flash Vector “Hmm? Oh. Flash Vector. What are you doing here? The others are in the garden..” Shadow X added he was confused but he admitted he liked attention. “…I-I…-I-i-i-i-“ Flash Vector spurted out trying to say “I like you! No I love you!” Shouldn’t be to hard right…?. Nope. Instead he said “..I WANNA SPAR WITH YOU!!” Flash Vector blurted out even Shadow X was startled. Flash Vector felt a small tint of blue creeping up his face plates. “Ohhhhhh I messed up I messed up I messed up I messed up I messed up I messed up I messed up I messed up-“ he muttered over and over and over again in his processor

“You- wha?” Shadow X murmured in confusion. Blinking one too many times in confusion. Flash Vector awkwardly turned and said “I wanna spar you.”, Shadow X looked surprised but he was bored. How fun. A sparring match. “Ohhh! You wanna challenge me? Sure! Why not?” He replied pulling out his X-wheel, Flash Vector looked at his weapon card then at Shadow X’s. “Thats not fair. Yours is bigger, let’s spar without weapons.”

“Without? Weapons? Man dude. You’re weird as frag.” Shadow X commented before putting aside his X-wheel “Fine then. Let’s do this!”, Flash Vector was surprised on how quickly Shadow X complied to his request to not spar weapons.

They both then started to spar and got into a few fights with each other once more, that was until Shadow X commented “Maaan! You’re bad at sparring while having fun!!” To Flash Vector? Man that voice annoyed him…in a good way. So he pinned Shadow X to the ground to a hard force, Shadow X yelped in surprise “FLASH VECTOR WHATS GOING ON MAN—“

Flash Vector looked down at him…blinked at his optics. Their optics laid on each other, before..Flash Vector places his mask onto Shadow X’s mask (Metal Cardbot’s way of kissing), Shadow X was surprised and shaken but quickly got into it too.

Flash Vector muttered quietly “…I don’t know how to explain it. But you’re not that smart.”, Shadow X was offended, first this cardbot kisses him then insults him?! “RUDE!”, Flash Vector sighed and hugged his body plates “No. Your stupidity makes me stupid in a good way….i..hate it. But I’d give in Everytime I see you…”

Shadow X was flustered by the fact that he had just confessed he was in love with him. No ones ever fallen for an idiot like him. “Oh..my..Machina?…..how….why?”

Flash Vector shrugged off and said “I don’t know. You’re too cute..I-“

“FLASH VECTOR!!! TIME TO GO SWEETIE!!!!” Someone yelled.

“Who’s that..?” Shadow X asked, trying to stand up but his legs wobbled but he balanced it

“My mother. Sky Gallop” Flash Vector replied back in his cold usual manner

“….You won’t tell her about this? Right?” Shadow X asked with concern for Flash Vector. He just tried to hide it

“…..She would never approve of you. Ya know.” Flash Vector added coldly before turning a pede and a heel and walking off “Hope to meet ya again..some day.”

“A-again?..uh. Ok-“ Shaodw X added in an awkward tone, god that tone is enough to destroy someone’s ego (like Red Blitz.)

After their encounter and “sparring” Shadow X headed to his usual catwalk to rest and rethink his decision and plans. Not long after to be interrupted again by the lunatic

“Shadow X?” Mega Ambler asked, placing servos on his hips like a tired mom

“Nyeah?” He added. “…..Why do you look so…perturbed, more so bothered?, did something happen?” Mega Ambler asked

“No..Nothin. Just tired. Alone time please.” Shadow X pleaded quietly

“….Alright?. Goodbye now.” Mega Ambler left the room..

||Porcaca Village. Morning. 8:23 AM in the morning. Cardbot Base||

Flash Vector had woken up from his recharge, and began to do his usual routine (polishing his weapons, breakfast, training, spending time with Peruru for learning to trust again.) well…that was until the routine was interrupted by a letter near Flash Vector’s berth. It was white soft and clean. Though usually he’d throw out letters but this wasn’t the case this time. He opened it, and saw the handwriting…it was childish, stupid, and clearly had trouble with it. The letter had been written by Shadow X (he signed it at he end)

The letter reads: “Dear Flash Vector. Frag you for kissing me. Anyways. Wanna go on a date? If yes, meet me at Mowtown piers at 6 PM. If not. Don’t bother idiot >:)
-XOXO Shadow X.”

The moment Flash Vector reads the letter….? He was shook but so interested! A date? By his crush? Wait- wasn’t it suppose to be the other way around, like him asking if they wanted to go on a date- well who cares?! His own crush asked him on a date! Sure his face looks cold and unbothered but inside? His heart was so warm and soft and happy and melted into a pool of warm joy!!

So he got ready for the date! Trying to do it silently without anyone noticing, though they started to pick up on his shenanigans. First it was Cielo, Cielo was simply scrubbing and waxing his wings before looking over at Flash Vector who waddled and looked awkwardly strange. Grabbing Cielo’s wax before trying to waddle back to his room, he was sorta caught- “Hey! I was using that!!” Yelled an annoyed Cielo. Flash Vector didn’t turn and awkwardly squeaked out “I need it for my hood- bye.”. That made Cielo even more concerned and confused “Dude. I don’t even know what you mean- you’re hood..? You can just ask Peruru for help ya know!!” Cielo roared out. Flash Vector rolled his optics before shutting is berth door on Cielo.

Next? Was Musclehyde. While Musclehyde was working and writing notes, he noticed Flash Vector walking towards him with words and eyes that desc his walk as “Having depression and fun at the same time.”, Musclehyde looked at him before asking “What brings you here Flash Vector?”, Flash Vector looked embarrassed but replied with “Question. What do you say to someone on a first date. What’s the best wax to use— I-“, Musclehyde was even more confused “Uhm…need advice I see! Uh..I’d say. “You’re really nice!” And uhhh..hmm. Cielo’s wax, he uses the best.”

Flash Vector nodded “I’ve already acquired Cielo’s wax. Just question. Thank you.”, He said thank you?! Last time Flash Vector said thank you was when Jun and Shadow X offered to take Flash Vector out on a fun day.

Next? Spark Bit. He’s heard from the others that Flash Vector isn’t being himself. So? He’s decided to spy on him. With the help of Sky Gallop of course! "What deed is this we undertake, my son? Methinks ’tis troubling to set sly watch upon thy brother." Sky Gallop added, adjusting her bow/sword thing-.

“We’re spying on him!! Of course!! He’s been acting weird all morning!!!” Spark Bit said pulling out a cardbot sized pair of binoculars.

Flash Vector had appeared on Mowtown’s piers at exactly 6 PM sharp. Not too late, Not too early. Shadow X arrived a few minutes after holding a box of generators to snack on during the date. The sunset was perfect.

“Hello…” Flash Vector muttered. “So you actually agreed? Lmao. Hi anyways!” Shadow X replied back with a retort.

They both sat down at the piers ledges of the docs, Shadow X slyly handed Flash Vector a generator to snack on. “Take one! On the house!”, Flash Vector looked embarrassed “For..me? Thank you. Idiot.”, Shadow X looked slightly offended and then turned away to look at the sunset “Hey…it’s a really nice day today ain’t it?”

Flash Vector looked at his optics before sighing “It’s actually really nice. Genuinely….its really nice. Like..you.”, Shadow X looked puzzled than smirked “Who meee?~ lil old meee?~ nice?! Hah! I’m the most genius prankster in Mowtown!!”, Flash Vector sighed in disbelief “You’re actually a dense idiot…”

Meanwhile? On the other side of Mowtown’s piers was Bluecop and Mega Ambler spying on them too. Though they were better at spying than Sky Gallop and Spark bit.

Flash Vector turned around then back at Shadow X “…Sorry for my brother and mother spying on our date.”, Shadow X looked puzzled and laughed “you thought I didn’t notice also? I noticed really well. I don’t mind. Heck! I’m betting Mega Trucker’s aft that Mega Ambler and Bluecop are spying on us right now!!”, As Shadow X kept yapping and ranting…Flash Vector was mesmerised by his voice. So sweet and cute. So…adorable.

That was until Shadow X’s servo unconsciously crawled out of Flash Vector’s servo, Shadow X didn’t even notice that it had happened! But Sky Gallop?
"Thou laid’st thy hand upon my son?! Mark me well—thou shalt be cast into the briny deep beneath the pier!“ she aimed her bow and shot right at Shadow X who turned around to face Flash Vector, in one second they were being sweet and talking. Next second? Shadow X was in the ocean getting pushed off by the force of Sky Gallop’s bow.

“OH MY GOD SHADOW X— ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!!!!!” Flash Vector yelled pulling up a soaked and wet Shadow X who was coughing up sea water “I’m fine you idiot…” Shadow X replied slightly annoyed.

“….ah..you’re not mad about that, are you?….” Flash Vector asked nervously. He was hoping this date lasted longer. Maybe it could be redeemed?, Shadow X sighed “Look it’s been a really good date. But that? I need some moments to think about more upcoming dates.” Shadow X replied slightly more tired and annoyed before turning into a VTOL helicopter and flying away.

Flash Vector was alone and watched silently before sighing. “MOOOOMMMM- WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT WHY YOU KEEP DOING THIS—“

A few days passed. Both Shadow X and Flash Vector are on good terms. Both sending love letters to each other. So it’s a win-win situation of love…Sky Gallop’s been trying to be less overprotective of her kids. But it still shows.

All..because of a date. <3.
