“Polishing rag.” Flash Vector glanced at it then added, “It’s used.”
Spark Beat flung it away immediately. It landed on the floor behind them with a flutter. “What about this one?”
“How have you not seen these before?” Flash Vector asked. Spark Beat waved something red in his face. Flash Vector took it, and read the label off the container, before putting it down back where it should be. “A really nice and fancy tub of polish. Not mine.”
“How do you know it’s nice and fancy?” Spark Beat picked it up again. He twisted the lid open and sniffed the content inside, and made a face. Flash Vector reached for the polish but Spark Beat spun away, and sniffed it again, seemingly to confirm something. He made that face again, helm rearing back. Flash Vector made a small noise in his vocalizer, something between annoyed and amused.
“Don’t sniff the fumes, it’s scentless.” Flash Vector chided. “I had a sponsor that sent me a sample.”
Flash Vector shows Spark Beat around the VIP racer lounge.
