not so jealous (yes you are)

Summary:

“Better answer fast, young master,” Kuya warned with a smirk, tugging Eiden’s shirt up to expose his chest and stomach, then started licking his skin in long, deliberate strokes—teeth grazing just enough to leave flushed marks, leaving him drenched in fox drool.

Work Text:

Living for hundreds of years has made Kuya immune to jealousy—or maybe he just wasn’t the type to easily jealous to begin with. Even when his young master was surrounded by, flirting with, or tangled up in other clan members, the thought of burning them never once crossed his mind.

BUT whenever Eiden meets another version of himself, that's when he draw the line. Kuya can deal with other people, but sharing Eiden’s attention with ... himself? Such a hassle.

It was already bad enough when he had to deal with his past self during that double moon eclipse. And now there’s this annoying purple puffball that keeps popping up wherever he and Eiden go—constantly stealing his young master's attention.

And Eiden? Eiden had the nerve to say they’re the same? Kuya’s lost count of how many times he’s burned that violet ball of chaos to ashes, but it just keeps coming back like some smug little curse. "The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, huh?" Eiden once said— and he was burned with purple flames.

“Aaah! Kuya! I’m sorry, I’m sorry!”

“Happy birthday, Master Kuya!”

Eiden beamed when Kuya open the door. The whole house was decorated with balloons and twinkling lights. No wonder that puppy had dragged him into the woods earlier under the excuse of "needing help"— classic distraction tactic.

Kuya had told him countless times birthdays weren’t that special for him. But still, kudos to his young master for putting in effort year after year. Then a little idea popped into Kuya’s mind.

“Hm, since it’s my birthday, that means I can ask anything of you, right, Eiden?”

“Well, if it’s within my power i can granted it."

Kuya chuckled at Eiden’s face—caught somewhere between nervous and excited? Always thinking i would do somenthing bad is he? Well, not exactly wrong.

“Oh? So you won’t mind if I do this, then?”

“Do wha—”

Before Eiden could finish, Kuya had already shifted into his full fox form. Not just ears and a tail—the full deal. Eiden stared in awe; it was his first time seeing Kuya forms like this. He remembered how Kuya used to hate showing that youkai features of him, it means he can not fully control his power. But now? He was magnificent—a majestic giant fox, radiating power and elegance.

“Oh, Kuya… you are majestic.”

Eiden reached out, brushing his hand through Kuya’s fur and squealing, “Ooh! So soft! So freakin' soft!”

Without warning, he dove into Kuya’s fur, burying his face in that fluffy fox. But Kuya pushed him back gently until he was lying on the bed—hovering over him with a mischievous gleam in his eyes.

“So ... which feels softer? My fur, or that purple ball? Young master, you don't seriously think that little guy is much cooler than me, right?

Eh?

Eiden froze. Can't answer the question immediately, was … was Kuya jealous? Of the little orb? This was serious. And weirdly adorable.

“Better answer fast, young master,” Kuya warned with a smirk, tugging Eiden’s shirt up to expose his chest and stomach, then started licking his skin in long, deliberate strokes—teeth grazing just enough to leave flushed marks, leaving him drenched in fox drool.

In all 23 years of his life, Eiden had never found himself in a situation quite like this. Sure, Sooley had tried to pounce on him before, but Sooley was way smaller. Kuya’s fox size was ... kinda terrifying with his mouth open wide. But this was Kuya. Eiden trusted him completely.

“Of course, yours it's the softest, Master Kuya! And you’re the coolest! Hey— why so sudden? Are you jealous with that ball, eh?

Kuya snorted. “Oh? So young master thinks he knows my heart so well?”

He continued licking up Eiden’s body, from stomach to neck, fangs brushing teasingly against skin.

Then Kuya pulled back, spun around, and laid down, gesturing for Eiden to rest against him. Eiden happily obeyed, instantly swallowed up by Kuya’s thick, fluffy tails—rolling around like an overexcited puppy.

“Oh Kuya—this is the best birthday of yours ever!”

Meanwhile, someone else was sulking outside, unable to get in and cuddle with Eiden because the barrier Kuya places

And Kuya? Don’t even ask.

His ego? Thoroughly satisfied.
