   “You’ve got a lot of fight in you,” the girl says to Lex, her voice cool. She presses the spear tip to his cheek until a bead of blood forms. “You might actually last.” She looks almost impressed.
   Then she looks at Jack, really looks at him, for the first time.
   “You? Probably not."
   Far from home, Jack and Lex are taken captive by a brutal tribe that forces them into violent gladiator-style combat for the amusement of their captors. Stripped of their freedom and pushed to their limits, the two must rely on each other to survive. Will the Mall Rats find them in time, or will Jack and Lex be lost to the arena forever?
