“A hole,” Laurent repeated, enunciating clearly, “inside me.”

Looking at these images, Laurent saw himself from a new angle. His insides were presented in greyscale. It was true, where normal human biology would dictate a twist of entrails, there was a gaping hole.In which: Laurent has a hole inside him and can't touch anyone without hurting them. As he learns more about his condition and himself, he is motivated to search for a cure.
