   He hadn’t, Wolffe realised. The question hadn’t even occurred to him. Though, now that he thought about it, he supposed he had a pretty good idea of what the answer might have been. Still, it wasn’t something he wanted to make assumptions about - not with something so delicate. Especially not since Fox was just beginning to calm down.

   “Do you want to tell me about it?” Wolffe counted the fact that Fox didn’t immediately tense up again at the question or shoot him down as a win.

   “... Maybe another time…” Wolffe really, sincerely hoped the other would stick to that. But he wouldn’t push unless he sensed Fox’s difficulties getting out of hand further down the line.
