   Summary

   With each new song booed, Zoë began to dig into herself, looking for problems. The girl watched the videos of her performances thousands of times, invented flaws, found fault with every note she sang.

   The errors found lowered self-confidence below the baseboard. Kressler crossed out her songs a thousand times, corrected her flaws, but everything seemed useless now.
