As Seungmin looked into the mirror, taking in his appearance. He thought something was missing, and it was slowly starting to annoy him a little. “White dress shirt, check. Tie, check. Green vest, check. Brown pants, check. Belt, check. Shoes, check.” He said to himself, while looking in the mirror. He let out a long and loud groan. “The hell is missing?” He said, in quite a frustrated tone.
Suddenly there was a knock on his bedroom door. “Come in!” He yelled, even though there was no real reason for it, he just decided to do so anyway. The door opened, revealing his roommate, Felix. “Dude you good? I can hear you all the way in the kitchen.”
Felix asked, completely ignoring why his friend was dressed in what seemed like vintage clothing, only because it was none of his business. “Something is missing from my outfit, and I can’t tell what it is.” Seungmin replied with a whine. Felix let out a hum, and looked the other up and down.
“Maybe a bracelet or two, a hat, and sunglasses?” Felix suggested, and it took Seungmin a few minutes to find the perfect things. When he found the items, he went back to his mirror, placing them one by one. He smiled brightly, and pulled Felix into a big hug. “Thank you, Lixie!” He said, his happiness evident in his voice.
Felix hugged the other back, with a light chuckle. “Of course, Minnie.” Felix started, and pulled away from the hug. “Now… care to explain why you're dressed up?” Felix asked, getting just a bit curious. Felix slightly tilted his head, while being patient for the younger to tell him.
“Well,” Seungmin started, and slowly started shifting on his feet. Felix stood there, patiently waiting, knowing the other would tell in a matter of time. Seungmin took a deep breath in, before releasing it.
“I'm taking Innie out for a movie date..”
Silence. Pure fucking silence.
It made Seungmin a little uneasy, due to the fact he was unsure of how Felix would react, but soon he violently jumped out of his skin when a loud shrink left Felix. Last thing he expected was for Felix to let out the loudest shrink known to mankind.
“Lixieeee..” Seungmin whined, trying to hint to the other that he was too loud, luckily enough, he caught on. “Whoops- Sorry-” Felix said, while clearly not holding back his huge smile. “Y'all are so cute, I feel like a proud older brother, oh my god..” Felix said, while wiping away fake tears.
“Oh stop being so dramatic.” Seungmin said, before lightly smiling. “I should probably get going before I'm late though..” Seungmin said, as he made his way to the door. “Right, right!” Felix started, soon releasing a light sigh before breaking into another smile.
“Have fun, Minnie.”
“I will don’t worry.”
Within seconds, Seungmin was out of his bedroom, and already at the front door. He placed his shoes down on the ground, and placed them on, in a quick motion. Once they were on, he stood up and grabbed his keys and made his way out of his and Felix’s shared dorm, but quickly stopped when he realized he forgot a mask.
“Shit..” He mumbled, quickly making his way back into the said dorm, went and grabbed the mask, and walked back out. Now he was ready to get going, so he did. He quickly made his way to his car, and got into it. Once buckled up, he sighed while putting the keys into the ignition.
He turned the key, turning the vehicle on, while waiting a bit before placing his hand onto the gearshift to move it from ‘Park’ to ‘Reverse’. Once he placed it in reverse, he backed out of the driveway, and placed himself in ‘Drive’, and made his way to Chris’ and Jeongin’s shared dorm. It didn’t take long for him to get there either.
Once he made it, he placed the vehicle in park. As he made his way out of the vehicle, he took in another deep breath, because this is it. He was nervous and a little shaky. He wanted this to go well.
He closed the car door, and made his way into the building, and to their dorm room. Once he was in front of the door, his nerves increased a bit. He raised his hand and placed it into a fist and lightly knocked on the door and waited.
He probably should've expected Chris to be the one to open the door, but I guess his nerves were everywhere so he wasn't thinking. “Hey Minnie,” Chris said, and took a pause to notice how the other was. “Nervous or?” Chris asked, gaining a nod from the younger.
Chris lightly nodded, and moved to the side to let him in. Seungmin walked inside but was still pretty nervous. Once the door shut, Seungmin took his shoes off to enter more into the room. “Is he uhm, almost done?” Seungmin asked, while making his way to the couch to sit down.
“Almost, yeah.” Chris said, following the other, and lightly placed his hand on his shoulder. Silence filled the room for the remainder of the time they waited on Jeongin. Soon the man they were waiting in, exited his room.
“Sorry for taking a bit, I'm done though.” Jeongin said, with a soft smile. He had on a tan shirt that had some weird design, paired with brown pants and a navy jacket. A couple of rings, a beanie, and his camera. Seungmin was, well, speechless. He couldn't find the correct words as he looked at Jeongin's outfit.
“You two match a little.. Was the outfit part planned?” Chris asked, glancing at the two more than once. “I think it's a coincidence, honestly.” Seungmin said, but left out ‘A pretty good one.’ Seungmin then stood up and made his way to the door, and patiently waited for the other.
Jeongin made his way over to the other, and grabbed a pair of black boots that were ankle length, but had a small platform on them. Seungmin quietly slipped back on his shoes also, but before they could leave Chris stopped them, and pulled both of them into a hug.
“Have fun you two” He said, with a soft smile, and gaining light nods from both boys. “Alright, get going now, before you both are late.” Chris said, erupting small giggles from the youngsters.
“Yes, dad” Seungmin and Jeongin said at the same time, causing Chris now to erupt in giggles. “Ok go! Shoo!” He said, while pushing the pair out of the door, through giggles. “We're going, we're going!” Seungmin said in between his giggles.
Once they were out in the hallway, the door shut. “Well, let's get going shall we?” Jeongin asked, and Seungmin nodded. They begin to make their way out of the building and to the vehicle. One in the vehicle, and buckled up and finally on the road, there was a light hum from the radio, but overall peaceful.
“Do you know what we're going to watch?” Jeongin asked, and all Seungmin did was nodded. “It's a horror movie though.” Seungmin said, all Jeongin did in response was nodded.
“Which one?”
“The Conjuring.”
.
..
…
“The conjuring?”
“Yes?..”
“While Annabella is out on the loose currently, because they lost her?”
“Ok listen-!”
Silence, and all it took was a laugh from the duo that broke it. “You're going to get us cursed, Hyung!” Jeongin said through his laughs, which didn't help Seungmin in the end. Thankfully they were parked now, while they were dying of laughter.
“Alright come on,” Seungmin said through his laughter while getting out of the vehicle. Jeongin followed right afterwards, and they made their way inside. They got their tickets, snacks and drinks, and made their way to the room for the movie.
They found the movie enjoyable when it started, but one particular jumpscare got Jeongin, causing him to fly into Seungmin's without realizing, snapping a laugh out of him.
Once it finished and they were walking out, Jeongin smacked Seungmin on the shoulder, or.. well tried to, Seungmin moved away before he could. “Nice try Innie.” Seungmin said in a teasing tone, causing a groan to release from the other.
“So,” Jeongin started, unsure where to go with the question he has bubbling in his head. “Sleepover?” Seungmin asked, causing a chuckle and head nod from the younger.
“Yeah, I was unsure how to ask for it.”
“After a horror movie?”
“Yeah..”
“Fair enough.”
“You know we probably are cursed now.”
“We are not cursed Jeongin!”
