You would think for a rock band that the ghouls all shared a common liking of music artists. Wrong. The battle of the aux cord on the bus was a brawl everytime, so much so that Copia had started playing podcasts or local radio stations from whatever city they were currently in.
It was until Rain had stumbled across a very small alternative band that there was finally something everyone enjoyed listening to. Mountain appreciated the rhythms and the drum solos, Dew liked hearing all the new riffs, Rain and Phantom both loved the vocals. This band only had two EP’s out, but it was better than nothing.
In the back of the bus, Rain played music from his phone, laying next to Phantom. “You okay listening to the music?”
Phantom nodded, head tucking into the water ghouls neck. “Yeah, I’m good, might fall asleep, though.”
Rain just laughed, one hand coming up to twirl Phantom’s hair, which caused the ghoul to chuff in appreciation. The water ghoul let him sleep for as long as he wished, nothing but a long road ahead of them to their next tour stop.
Dew pulled back the bus curtain, smiling at the pair. “Enjoying some tunes back here?”
Rain smiled, tail swishing happily. “Gotta enjoy it while we can, right?”
The fire ghoul smiled, toeing off his shoes to join them. “Aw come on, don’t you get sentimental on me.”
Dew glued himself to Phantom’s other side, the quintessence ghoul now sandwiched, not that he minded. Kicking up a purr, Dew nestled into the ghoul’s back. “Gonna sing for us, my siren?”
Rain just blushed, thankful his hair was long enough to cover his eyes. He nodded anyway, never one to deny Dewdrop anything. With a deep breath, he started to sing along to one of his favorite songs, Dewdrop tapping away on Phantom’s side like he was playing the guitar right alongside him.
