Summary
Wanting to avoid the winter season with his child, Zoro takes up residence at the Vinsmoke house to work as a servant. The hardships of being poor and desperate have chipped away at his soul, with only his child to keep him grounded. He doesn't find joy or happiness anymore, and it gets worse when he has to serve the Vinsmoke alpha brothers. But Zoro meets the beta brother, Sanji, who is downtrodden and hurting just like he is. They take comfort in each other and build up a friendship that may become more. Will they finally find happiness together and become who they used to be, or would they be trapped in the Vinsmoke clutches inside winter's shadow?
