Summary
The Rains. A week-long torrential storm that has plagued the mountainous area of Ebott Territory ever since the Battle of Storms three centuries ago. For some, it’s a nuisance, the only options being to stay inside or travel and hope you don’t get soaked. For others, it’s a respite, a break from school and work, a chance to make memories with family or catch up on that personal to-do list they’d been neglecting.
For Kris, it was a chance for uninterrupted solitude, to think or talk without anyone else’s influence or opinion. Going to Be’heta stage in Nyota Plaza and just camping out has been a blessing for them these last five years. Peace to do whatever or have an episode without anyone caught in the crossfire. Something they’d really like to have this year, given the whole ‘monsters are real’ situation that Ebott’s now handling.
They weren’t expecting two monsters to be waiting under the tarp.
