Work Text:
An evening as peaceful as it could be, Chan was resting. There wasn't much he could do anyway, besides fighting with Hyunjin. They're always fighting, even though it wasn't always like that. A quiet but annoying buzzing sound was getting on Chan's nerves, and he exploded the moment Hyunjin appeared in his sight.
“What the fuck did you do to your hair?!” he asked, startling the taller one.
“Wha- Why do you care?! It's not like it's your hair anyways!” Chan hadn't noticed it, but Hyunjin looked like he was about to cry. “Besides, now it's easier to take care of.”
“And you fixed the clippers without telling me?!”
“Why are you making this about you?! You always make things about you!”
Hyunjin scoffed, sitting on the floor, as Chan just looked away. He wasn't going to fight with Hyunjin over this, it wasn't worth it anyways. For him, Hyunjin would never learn how to behave.
“… Give me the clippers.” Chan said, getting a confused look from Hyunjin.
“Why do you want them? Actually, no, I know you want to hurt me with them.”
“No! See, you're so sensitive, always thinking the worst would happen. I'm fixing your hair, those chunks are horrendous to look at.”
“… Whatever, it's not like you're ruining it more than it is already.”
In silence, the once annoying sound of the clippers was now a relaxing sound. It hadn't been that peaceful for a long time, and they both hoped they could stay like that forever.
But that would never happen, they would never be the same as before.
