Telamon waited with a patience that bellowed his typical demeanor, he has been eagerly expecting the arrival of his oldest child. The deity had cleaned up his home, dusting off his belongings, badges, and souvenirs long before the expected arrival date. The robloxian even made nice, heartwarming, tea.
Shedletsky's ear feathers lifted excitedly as the door bell rang. He quickly made his way over, opening the door, he is met with the one he's been waiting for; 1x1x1x1. Shedletsky smiled with a twinge of awkwardness.
Contrary to what was expected, they got along, even with a sense of uneasiness. They sat near each other in the couch, sharing tea, and small conversations. Before eventually, Shedletsky brought up a more… heartwarming topic.
“Hey, you know you were a little troublemaker back then, huh? You always wanted to see my swords, always wanted to play with them… I miss that sometimes.” Shedletsky said, sighing with a care in his tone. 1x1x1x1 remained quiet, but nodded, not completely hating the territory they're getting into.
As Shedletsky thought more, he remembered something. “You know, you were incredibly lucky before you even hatched, you know that? You were a malformed egg, and when you first hatched I… have to admit my chicken instincts wanted me to eat you, but my parental instincts stayed the priority.” As he finished telling that, he chuckled softly, a look of parental love in his eyes.
1x1x1x1 simply stared, looking completely bewildered. "…What the fuck do you mean you almost ate me when I was a hatchling? You can't just say that and not elaborate!? Dad.” Shedletsky giggled more, placing down the tea and opening his arms in for a hug. “C'mere…” Shedletsky said, as 1x1x1x1 immediately took the offer, hugging him.
“I love you more than you could ever imagine, and I'm sorry for everything I've ever done wrong…” Shedletsky murmured, love and affection in his words. 1x1x1x1 sniffled, which took the older deity off-guard, before pulling 1x1x1x1 into a stronger hug and kissing his child's head.
