"No, no, no need to do that !" Takemichi reaches for the front of his jacket to readjust it on him. "So much for showing off like a gentleman while you're less dressed, I'm fine."
"You're shivering." Mikey remarks, warm hands covering his, still clutching at his collar.
"If you want to warm me up that badly, there are other ways to do it." Takemichi half-teases.
He was aware of how Mikey always reflected with a protective instinct towards him.
Takemichi didn't want Mikey to feel obliged to go home right away just because of him, so there was an innocent and thoughtful part to his repartee, he could swear it. He just wished that they could enjoy their date a little longer. But, he would be lying if he said that the flash of surprise and quick interest that passed through those dark eyes was unpleasant.
