Summary
Trapped in an unhappy arranged marriage with a man he just met on their wedding day, Han Noah despised his husband Do Eunho, the Archduke of Silverwood.
On their fourth anniversary, Eunho gave him a set of jewellery made of bright red gemstone. Eunho also gave him a visiting permit from the Emperor to go to Goldenhelm. Noah, not being used to seeing this form of kindness from his husband, fled immediately that night.
A couple of weeks after he arrived home, the current Emperor Nam Yejun, Eunho’s half brother, visited him and told him privately that his husband had just passed away. With the death of his husband, their marriage was annulled, and he couldn’t even attend his funeral. Guilt started to eat Noah from the inside, especially after he heard everything his late husband did to gain his favor. Noah’s illness got worse each day, and his family worried that grief might deteriorate his health.
One day, as Noah tried on the jewellery given by Eunho before he passed away, a bright red light shone blindingly from the biggest stone in the middle of his necklace, and as he opened his eyes, Noah found himself transmigrated back to the past two years.
