Summary
Astarion is forced to visit the campus library for his thesis on the history of Netheril, when a specific book he needs is seemingly impossible to find.
Gale is the head librarian who has a passion for books, and in particular anything to do with Netherese texts.
When Astarion enters the library and spots Gale, whose gaze in turn falls on him, the underlying tension between them is immediately apparent. One that lingers for both of them long after Astarion leaves.
Gale finds himself aching for the elf's touch, hot and bothered under his watchful gaze. When he attempts to steer clear of the elf in an effort to calm himself, Astarion finds him and offers to assist in his hour of need.
