Summary
Muggle AU. Harry Potter doesn’t know why Narcissa Malfoy, the cold and elegant CEO of Malfoy Enterprises, hired him to be on her team. For some reason, she keeps him close—her sharp blue eyes watching, her voice smooth as she gives orders.
She’s strict, demanding, and expects perfection. But she’s also intoxicating. Her presence alone makes Harry hyper-aware of himself, of every misstep, every glance that lingers too long. He swears she enjoys making him flustered.
Then, one evening, she calls him into her office after hours. A business matter, she says. But the way she leans back in her chair, the ghost of a smirk on her lips, tells him this is something else entirely.
"Do you know why I chose you, Harry?" she asks, her voice like velvet.
He swallows. Shakes his head.
"Because you take orders so well."
