Summary
"Everything you drown in the past comes back to haunt you unless you see the life leaving the body of that which you want to escape, and even then, if the dead come back, won't the living do the same?"
Anby escaped her past by "dying" to save one of her sisters, Soldier 11. A cowardly act, sure, but it worked. The past seemed buried, she had moved on and Soldier 11 too, but when the woman in orange disappears and rumors about the revival of the Silver Company come back to haunt her, Anby has to wear her past again and fight to end it, but this time, forever, even if she dies.
13/03/2026 — After a long hiatus, I'm back to this story. In addition to fixing errors in existing chapters, I'll be resuming the story's release schedule. For further explanation, chapter 5 will include explanations in the author's notes when it is released. Also, I sincerely apologize for my disappearance.
