Summary
White sits on that rooftop far longer than he should, eyes unseeing, feet long since gone numb from kneeling in the same position. His mind and body are at war, pain and numbness telling him to move, while his brain screams that moving from the last place he saw and touched Sean will mean that it’s all real. His nightmare come true. It’s then stuck in that spot that he feels the first pinch in his lungs. He won’t realize until much later what it means, but when he looks back on that moment it is apparent that his decision to let go and let Black fully have his life back are what have caused all of his current problems.
