Chapter Text

Adean who is a light purple and lavender female draconequus with dark purple hair with one Snowleopard paw and one wolf paw with blue eyes starting to have real bazaar visions. She felt like she had fallen into the Twilight Zone.
She visioned a pair of red and yellow eyes with big long white bushy eyebrows.
Adean didn’t see its entire face but it began to speak.

“Your powers are a curse, you weak feeble human,” it said.
“Stop!!” Adean yelled frustrated by the frightening images.
“You shouldn’t have fell into the realm of chaos,”

”You’re now an unstable abomination,”

That voice and those eyes looked somewhat similar to Adean but she cannot figure out entirely who it was.

“You cannot escape your fate!” The voice said.
“Nooo!!!” Adean cried.
‘That vision was all too confusing but she had a sinking feeling she saw this place before.

“Adean!” A familiar voice said sending her back to reality.

Adean saw her adopted daughter Vaz a pink haired anthro grey wolf with a blue tank top and black shorts and dark purple eyes looking real concerned about her.
“Are you okay?” Vaz asked.
Adean noticed herself back in Maretime Bay where she saw Vaz standing before her.
“I’m fine!” Adean responded.
“Tell me what’s wrong, please don’t hide things from me,” said Vaz.
“I don’t want you to worry about me!”

“I’m not like that sad poor pitiful creature Discord, I’m a human!” Adean said.

She was about to fly away when she was seen by a FBI pony with dark shades and a uniform looking real serious about Adean being Maretime Bay.

“Hey beast, you’re not allowed here!” The FBI pony of Maretime Bay said.

Shocked by what a simple earth pony called her she transformed into a purple Phoenix and flew away.

“Did that hideous monster harm you?” The FBI pony asked Vaz.
“No, she adopted me as her daughter,”

“I just don’t know what’s wrong with her,” said Vaz looking beyond the horizon of Maretime Bay.

Adean flew to the Everfree Forest and stayed perched on a tree then changed back into a draconequus feeling really upset.
I don’t need them, I don’t need any creature!” Adean thought with tears coming down her face.
“I wanna go home! I wanna go back to being with people!” Adean bawled.
“Are you really gonna leave me Auntie Adean?” A young draconequus with black and purple hair, still without his horns and blue eyes like Adean’s eyes, his name was Zach said coming out of the overgrowth.
“What do you know? You’re just a draconequus, I was a human,” said Adean dully.
“You taught me that not all draconequui have to be evil,” said Zach.
“That’s all a lie, the draconequui are nothing but an evil race,” said Adean.
“You hardly never lie to anyone, especially me,” said Zach.
“You know I’m really not a draconequus, I don’t even act like one, you found the wrong role model,” said Adean.
“If it’s anything, you inspired me to be nice more then any other draconequui could,” said Zach.
“But you’re just a weak creature like Discord, only used for pure evil,” said Adean.
“You prove that not all draconequui have to be that way,” said Zach.
“A draconequus can never be a hero, I want to be a normal human again,” said Adean grimly.

Zach saw how upset Adean looked, he wanted to help her but noticed that she just wanted to be alone.

“I’ll give you some moments alone,” said Zach.

After Zach left Adean alone the visions came back in Adean’s head.
“You hide your feelings to others even other draconequui,” said a familiar voice again in the zone.
“Are you Discord?” Adean questioned.
“You’re ears don’t deceive you but you’re emotions do,” said a familiar draconequus.
“Discord? Is that really you? I thought you cannot age any further,” said Adean.
“How would you feel like after losing a close and only friend?!” The old Discord growled.
“I’m also your closest friend too, I’m still around!!” Adean lashed out.
“You never knew what it was like to lose a loved one,” said the old Discord firmly.
“Yes I do! I lost my dear grandparents, I was real close to them!” Adean explained.
“Gah! They were just weak short living humans!” The old Discord chortled.
“They were up in they’re years!!” Adean yelled getting really irritated by the old Discord’s vain actions.
“You have real strong feelings for humans, they’re nothing but savages!!” Discord bellowed.
“That’s a lie!! The only one that is savage is you!!” Adean yelled.
“Still you feel for me more then your grandparents,” said the old Discord said with a smirk.
“That’s because I care for others including you! You’re not the Discord I know!” Adean said.
“That Discord was weak! He cared too much! You’re weaker!!” The old Discord growled.

Adean wished she should’ve stayed a normal human like her mother.

“Your father Scorpan became a creature,” The old Discord replied.
“Leave him out of this!!” Adean yelled clinching her fist.
“He still befriended Tirek,” the old Discord said coolly.
“He was a slave to him! Tirek made him a beast!” Adean shouted.
“He still chose to become a good king, princess of chaos,” the old Discord sneered.
“I’m not like you!” Adean growled baring her teeth.

The old Discord backed away in fear of Adean’s bravery.
“Tch, you’re fate is still sealed in pure chaos,”

“You maybe born a human, but if you were to be without power, you’ll fall apart!” The old Discord sneered.
“Vaz! Zach! Where are you!!” Adean called out.
“Adean?! What’s wrong?” Vaz said with Zach right beside her.
“I-I…” she stammered a bit.
“No more secrets, what’s wrong?” Vaz said.
“It’s… Discord,” said Adean.
“How? Discord has been gone for centuries,” said Zach.
“He’s in me, but much older,” said Adean sweating.
“Still you encouraged me that not all draconequui have to be truly evil,” said Zach.

Tears of joy went down her face. Adean smiled wiping the tears from her eyes with one paw.
“Let’s go back to Maretime Bay and get some ice cream, my treat,” said Vaz.
Adean nodded. She teleported herself and Vaz and Zach back to Maretime Bay to go get some scooped ice cream.
