In fact, this whole situation is too ridiculous to be true.
These are too surreal thoughts, racing around inside the mind, thoughts born of a sad and hilarious situation at the same time.
Seeing that annoying expression on his face was too much.
Painful.
Disgusting.
Scary.
Subspace caused an external tremor and an internal contraction, as if it were a reaction of the intestines to a light frost settling inside and staying there forever, each time he was seen, letting snow pass through the nerve endings.
Ice poured into the lymph from the mugs cooling under the nightstand, which squeezes the insides and rolls a lump to the throat every time he appears…
Stupid.
And yet, it connected them.
And this was the reason for their meeting.
And this was love.
Twisted and painful.
Raw and cold.
Dangerous and uncontrollable.
But real.
And now they meet again. Subspace fucked up, and something about that makes Medkit take pity. And that pity leads to something irreparable.
Or: Medkit and Subspace meet by chance, share a bed, and blow the fuck up. That's it. -
