“…” Silence fills the air.
In the lavish yet desolate mansion, Millennial Tree can only sigh. He walked down the halls, filled with portraits and just other drawing pieces. One that stood out was a portrait of Wind Archer, his son. He has wavy hair, reminiscent of leaves that flowed backwards, an emerald green gem birthmark on his forehead, and emerald green eyes with white eyelashes. He was wielding a bow in this artwork, made out of twisted vines the same colour as his hair, adorned with dark green flowers. He was seemingly ready to shoot the arrow loaded. This was a special bow that Millennial Tree bought for Wind Archer after he was adopted into the household. Most of the lighting seemed to come from his birthmark, as if it was shining.
The artwork was titled: “My Blessed Wind.” This was Wind Archer during his teen years. Millennial Tree liked to admire it from time to time, as Wind Archer had left the house to live somewhere else a long time ago. His absence had made the place more quiet.
“It’s been a long time, Wind Archer. It’s really time for you to give your answer.” Millennial Tree sighed.
Suddenly, the portrait seemed to move, shooting the arrow which hit Millennial Tree’s arm. That was when Millennial Tree was snapped back to reality again. This was all a dream. He found himself lying in the hospital bed. I should have expected it. It’s the same dream all over again.
“Mr. Millennial Tree, you have woken up. Would you like to have breakfast now?” A nurse approached him.
“Sure, that would be great.” Millennial Tree smiled. As the nurse left, he could only look at the phone bleakly. No messages, once again. He then sent a “Good morning” GIF to Wind Archer. He could not help but chuckle lightly, seeing that Wind Archer hasn’t woken up yet, from the last seen online at 11pm. “As long as he is getting sleep…”
Millennial Tree just could not help but worry. “Will he be ready to make his decision?” He muttered. “Only time will tell.”
