Crossing Lines

Summary:

“But…” she trails off, taking a deep breath. “… there might be a solution.”

Franco raises an eyebrow. “Solution?” Gwen shifts uncomfortably, pacing a little as she explains. “There’s got to be a bigger story out there for her to not publish the photo, and I think the two of us could give her that.”

Franco’s brows knit together in confusion. “Are you saying what I think you’re saying?” Gwen glances at him, steeling herself. “Well, if you think I’m saying that we should go to her and offer her a photo of the two of us kissing instead, then yes. I am saying exactly what you think I’m saying.”

Franco freezes, his eyes wide as he processed the idea. “You’re crazy,” he mutters under his breath.

Chapter 1: The 2025 Formula 1 Grid

Hello and welcome everyone,

I've thought a lot about whether to post this or not but, as you can see, decided to give it a go. Or well, let's be honest, I'm getting the results of my final exams tomorrow so this is just a way of distracting myself.
Anyway, this is my first published story so I really appreciate every sort of feedback! English isn't my first language so whether it's a typo or a plot hole kind of thing, just tell me, I'm really grateful for it.
This story is already finished and I will probably update it three times a week with two chapters each. The chapters will get longer as the story progresses. They start off at about 1000-1500 words and in the end there are about 3000-4000 each chapter.
Other than that, I don't have much to say except that I hope you'll enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.

PS: If the tags are messed up and in the wrong order, I'm sorry. I've tried to fix that for the past hour and I'm just praying it'll stick this time. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix that?
