Chapter Text
Gentle moonlight reflected onto the see- through silk curtains of the infamous parfaedia institute, spreading far and wide along the prestigious seminary's long hallways.
Such serenity often soothed the passing Scholar, whether afflicted with educational dismay, or, on the rare occasion, unburdened, simply enjoying the nights atmosphere. Even in the midst of such intense academic pursuit, students are often seen huddling together before the clock strikes midnight, as its their only time off after a long day.
....
It was a shame to bury oneself inside, but alas, some things remain superior to mundane indulgence. Truly ambitious cookies have a tendency to 'hone their craft', or as a certain beloved parfaedia professor would say, self isolate.
In a particular dimly lit dorm, stood a restless cookie, hovering over a row of bubblings beakers.
Another failure.
red, blue, purple...each of his notebooks were smeared with a different color, different alchemical properties staining his precious work. some would call such a work enviorment unprofessional, maybe so, but the potion maker preferred to think of it as misuderstood artistic touch.
Prune juice cookie draped a piece of cloth around his nose, momentarily blocking out the hideous smell now rising from his latest experiment.
his stained gloves managed to taint the fabric, so ultimately, the smell came through despite his desperate attempt to stifle it.
Ever the reactionary cookie,
His entire facial structure scrunched accordingly.
He just needed some more time to perfect this formula, that's all.
An exasperated sigh escaped his throat. his goopy hair constantly dripping across the wooden floor like an invasive sludge.
He has a nasty habit, not uncommon amongst the students of this institute: pulling off all nighters with impeccable finess. Well, untill he dozes off in class, anyway.
A good chemist knows how to revise, how to adapt....
perhaps this concoction wasn't a complete waste of materials.
Instant dizzying nausea potion?
.... Smell you later potion..?
Ah, that's a good one.
