Jisung pauses, narrowing his eyes right back. “What are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about the fact that there is at least one highly frenzied vampire wreaking havoc on the mortals on both sides of the mountain. I’m talking about the children that have gone missing only to be followed by their entire family before the police report has even been properly filed. This is bigger than clan conflict and domain lines, Jisung. Something is happening that could put all of us in jeopardy.”
Jisung swallows thickly. Admittedly, he had not paid any attention to what was changing amongst the mortals outside his window. The dead leaves seemed more interesting and fitting for his mood.
