Summary
A young man wakes up on the Palpagos Islands where he must survive long enough to solve the many mysteries the islands hold. The wildlife, known as 'pals', are friendly enough to aid him in his quest, though some are more than eager to be under his control. Surviving slowly becomes the least of his problems as his base grows in size, and with it the number of pals that want a piece of him to themselves.
