It was a cold and rainy night, y/n was sitting on the couch watching tv and half out of it. Long day, mostly paperwork. It was too cold on their break to even do anything but laze around, so tonight was just a whole lot of nothing.
They wondered for a moment where their partner was.. it was getting pretty late and Bnuuy isnt the type to come home late, unless hes out on a smoke at least.
Perfect timing! Y/n heard the jingling of keys from the front door, and out came a groggy looking Bnuuy, his eyes half lidded and he looked just as miserable as y/n did.
"Welcome home sweetie" y/n called out, trying their best to not sound bland and tired.
"Mmmghhh" bnuuy grumbled and gave y/n a little wave, lazily taking off his coat and throwing his closed umbrella onto the shoe rack, slipping off his slick shoes and stumbling over to the couch. Y/n scooted a little out of the way so bnuuy had room to flop down on the couch. Did he take that room though? Nah, he flopped himself right onto y/n with a thump, burying his face in their shirt.
Y/n choked up a little from the sudden weight, but eased into the hug and embraced bnuuy in their arms, petting his head. Bnuuy mumbled in response, probably a happy noise, especially with his tail up and wagging right behind the two. Bnuuy sprawled himself out more on the couch, his legs hanging off of the couch end and his chin resting on y/n's chest, staring up at them with nothing but sweet adoration.
Y/n almost cooed at bnuuy's blatant gazing, rubbing his cheek for a moment and letting him lean into their touch, closing his eyes almost automatically. They chuckled and moved their hand over to bnuuy's nose, rubbing it very slightly. His nose twitched in response to the caressing, making bnuuy practically melt into y/n's chest. He made the face of a completely relaxed cat, starting to honk a little when he breathed in slightly.
They pet his nose more, hoping to earn more blissful little noises coming from bnuuy. The rabbit man started to nod off a little from the nose rubs, his expression tilting into a more peaceful and sleepy one. His entire body expressed the pure warm and fuzzy bliss he was entranced in, and his head seemed to start tilting more as he began to fall asleep. Y/n moved their hand over to catch his head, and carefully rested it down to the side.
Y/n smiled as bnuuy started to snore, just a bit. They pet his ears and leaned down a little to kiss the top of their partner's head. Y/n themself started to doze off a bit, feeling the calm rhythm of bnuuy's soft snoring and breathing.
...that is until he started to snore LOUD as hell. Y/n woke up a little, but they did their best to pay no mind, the man was tired afterall and definitely had a long day.
