Due to his own stupidity, Chance found himself in debt to the mafia. He had just fished a round of poker, and won as always, with his ex’s friends: Caleb and Elternate. But little did Chance know, there was a certain mafia boss watching from the shadows.
Chance was a well known gambler in his city, always at the casino every day of the week, every hour. No matter what, Chance was either smoothing talking the employees to allow him to stay, or making promises he knew he couldn't keep.Which is exactly why Mafioso was after him. Chance was heavily in debt to several people, most he just owed ~$100 to, all the way up to the Sonnelios (Mafioso) where he owned a whole $2.4million.
Chance was screwed and he knew it, but that didn't stop him.

Chance is forced to face his own subconscious in many ways - it tries to trick him, use them, drive them both to insanity.
But the mind doesn't mean to do this, it's only an act of survival - what it is programmed to believe is best for the vessel it controls.
It may deceive and contort what is reality, but, it is trying to be kind.
When the vessel gains control over a part of their subconscious however, the ecosystem of thought begins to lose full control.
The vessel can tap into what the mind doesn't want them to perceive, and this can be even more detrimental to the host.
What might happen then?
When the thing that only wanted to protect you from something that can make you worse, becomes the very thing that starts your downfall?Idk yall I haven't written something in ages , ':3

Nashatra would consider her and Darius to be friends.
Especially because of the fact that the more time they were (forced) to spend together, they grew closer. Darius was considerably warmer towards her (atleast in comparison to everybody else) and though he mostly remained the same, the small nice gestures he does for her feels nice.
Maybe it’s because nice things from mean people feel better because it makes you feel a little special. Even if Darius was still a little too blunt. She supposes it’s just a part of him.
