Elliot woke up late in the night to a pounding on his front door. Who in Robloxia could be up at this hour, and in this weather? Struggling out of his warm bed, he staggered his way to the living room. He opened the door to reveal Chance on his doorstep, soaked to the bone. He was shivering, but somehow managed to act as if this was a casual meet-up. "Hey, I got caught in the rain. Can I crash with you?"
Elliot ushered Chance inside. "Just... Just get in here!"
Chance sat on the couch while Elliot brought him a towel. He was so stressed right now, what if he had caught a cold? Why was he even in the rain in the first place? Elliot was deep in thought as he made some tea to warm Chance up.
Bringing the cup to him, Elliot sighed. "Are you okay?"
"Perfectly fine." Chance answered. He was dead serious. He took a sip of tea. "This is really good. Where did you learn to make tea?"
"The instructions come on the box." Elliot rolled his eyes, before softening up a little. "Actually, my dad taught me."
"That's nice of him."
The room was silent for a moment. The atmosphere was oddly romantic. Maybe it was just the sleepiness getting to him, but Elliot found himself offering, "Do you want to sleep with me?"
"Of course!" Chance grinned. "That's what I thought the plan was, anyway."
Elliot led Chance to his room, throwing an old shirt and shorts at him. "You can wear these for tonight. I'll wash your clothes tomorrow."
The pair climbed into bed together, snuggling close. Elliot melted into his boyfriend's embrace, knowing this was exactly where he wanted to be. "I love you."
"I love you too, Elliot."
