   Tyler’s whole demeanor changes when he fights. He gets this wild look in his eyes: exhilaration, childlike enthusiasm, spine–chilling focus. Sometimes I wish I could observe our fights from somewhere outside my body. I could watch him shift his weight from foot to foot, look me over as he considers where to strike.
