Summary
Pooh Krittin Kitjaruwannakul never expected his solo fishing trip would end with him stranded on a broken-down boat in the middle of the open sea. With no signal, no food, and nothing but the sun and water for company, his patience (and sanity) wears thin with each passing day.
But one night, the sea ripples in an unfamiliar way. Something—someone—emerges from the dark water, curious and radiant under the moonlight. Enter Pavel Naret, a mermaid with wide eyes and a restless heart. He's never seen a human up close, and this one is loud, tired, and kind of cute when he's yelling at the air.
At first, Pavel keeps his distance, only visiting at night and watching from afar. But curiosity blooms into routine, and routine becomes comfort. Slowly, they begin to bridge the gap between land and sea, using hand motions, little gestures, and shared silences under the stars. But how long can something so fragile last between a man bound to the sea and a creature who calls it home?
