Summary
There comes a time in a nation's life that they are baptized in blood, whether it be their own or that of another being; they are bathed in its crimson color. For some nations, this happened centuries ago, but for some, they had yet to experience some of humanity's darkest hours. Human ambitions rain true as even those most immune fall to their knees to follow a command from their bosses. There is a fateful morning in 1939 when lives are twisted violently and forever changed in a horrific baptism of war and smoke. For some, they may never recover, and others find themselves on the wrong side of history.
Author's Note: In this fanfiction, we will follow multiple points of view (POVs) throughout the events that occurred before, during, and after the Second World War. This fanfiction will contain dark themes and canon divergent behavior. I will provide substantial warnings before each chapter and attempt to update the tags.
