Summary
Years ago, when they were still a team, someone snuck onto the island, Jeff was attacked and he didn’t make it. Scott didn’t handle losing him for a second time very well. None of them did. International Rescue was shut down. Permanently. His brother said it was to protect them, but Gordon knew he was scared; he was afraid that someone would pick them off one by one. Gordon must have been first on their list. Or at least that's what the bullet in his shoulder said.
When Gordon went to work that day, he certainly didn't think he would be leaving, bleeding and loopy from a gunshot wound and shoved into the back of his crush's car. Sometimes stuff just happens.
