A moment on the lips and a lifetime on the hips, that’s what Miriam’s mother would say to her but she always misinterpreted what her mother meant. As far as Miriam was concerned, one didn’t get a curvaceous figure from nothing and better yet, every sweet treat and wonderful memory of food would stay with her forever and ever.
In pursuit of these indulgences, nowhere was too far or too near for Miriam. Mesagoza had its own, amazing cafe scene but Miriam’s heart belonged to the one and only Katy of Soapberry, owner and baker of her very own patisserie.
A gorgeous place with desserts by the dozens. The countertops were a sparkling emerald green, always kept spick and span. The wooden cabinets were homey. Curved glass protected plates upon plates of various desserts.
“Today we’ve got tiramisu, meringue cookies, and roll cake with ice-cream. What would you like to try today?” Katy asked, smiling.
Miriam hummed thoughtfully, “The sweet treat in front of me, I think.” she flirted and surprised Katy with a kiss over the counter, playing with her tie.
Life was good with all its plentiful sweet temptations, Katy’s lips were supple and dulcet upon being kissed.
