   Summary

   After being rescued, Akaza struggles. He expects pain from every kindness, flinching from Shinobu’s care and punishing himself in secret. Shinobu meets him with gentle patience, never forcing trust but offering safety. Kyojuro supports him too, refusing to leave even when Akaza lashes out in guilt and shame.
