Summary
Chan has a problem.
His final philosophy project is due in eight weeks, and so far, his research has only led to more questions than answers. Science claims love is just dopamine and oxytocin. Poetry calls it divine magic. Philosophy throws up its hands and says, "Who knows?"
Frustrated, Chan does the only logical thing: he turns his friends into lab rats.
Armed with his notebook and a desperate need for answers, he begins his fieldwork where all the best research happens—observing the couples in his life like a love-struck anthropologist.
But the more Chan watches, the less sure he becomes. Because love, it turns out, refuses to fit neatly into definitions. It's messy, contradictory and frustratingly human—and now Chan's starting to wonder if he's been asking the wrong questions all along.
