He waited until Ambrosius brought the mug to his lips before entering the (former) knight's line of sight with a cheery "Good morning!"
Unfortunately, nothing shot out of his mouth. Or nose.
"Nimona?" There was a slight hint of uncertainty in Nemesis' voice.
Still, considering she'd woken up tired of everyone looking down on her and decided on a taller human-shape for the day — complete with chest hair (more ginger than pink), stubble, and a couple pimples for flair — Nimona was a little surprised by Ambrosius' relative lack of surprise.
Nemesis opened and closed his mouth a few times before formulating a proper question. "Is it still Nimona, or should I call you something else, or…"
"Master, Your Excellency…" Nimona bared sharp teeth. "Your Sharkcellency…"
Ambrosius rolled his eyes. "I'll stick to Nimona. He/him today?"
He shrugged. "If you want."
"My auncle uses 'they'…"
"I'm not your auncle. I'm your great great great great great something grandma's ex-best friend. But 'they' works too."
"Got it. I think. Any preferences for when you're not human?"
"I'm never human," they reminded him.
"Fair," he acknowledged with a snort. "So…Want some coffee?"
"Don't forget the milk and sugar!"
"I wouldn't dare."
